Pell is a very unique artist in regards to his music and his fanbase.
I can’t say that Pell love his music so much that they listen just to Pell, or if I can associate Pell musically to another artist and their fanbase, which may be a good thing. One thing you can’t deny is the quality or that people are listening. He has done a great job building his fan base via soundcloud and whenever I attend his NYC shows there always seems like a nice crowd there for him. He has built a solid fanbase, and I respect his craft a lot. Late last night I caught wind of his new song “Jam” produced by London on Da Track and I felt obligated to share.
Early on, Pell pulls you in with clever bars like:
“I’ve been shining way too much, I should probably pack some shades/My life look more like a movie and your life more SMH/Never lying what I’m saying unless she asking where I stay/And I’m moving more than thinking, I don’t plan to hit the breaks,” he raps.
We recently got a short project between the dynamic duo. Hopefully this is the first of another one or maybe a full length from Pell. Only time will tell. Until then, enjoy the song above!
